The Barn

The Barn near Mathry in Pembrokeshire is a newly converted cottage that sleeps 4 plus a cot. Offering "Four-Star" rated accommodation from the Wales Tourist board.

It is set amongst the beautiful countryside between Fishguard (10 minutes drive) and St Davids (20 minutes). Pembrokeshire has something to offer everyone and is a perfect place for activities such as walking, cycling, fishing, horse riding or bird watching. There are numerous sandy beaches for water sports or sunbathing and lots of family attractions including Oakwood Theme Park, Folly Farm, Heatherton, Tenby Dinosaur Park and plenty of Welsh historic sites to visit.

The Barn is a single storey building with two bedrooms. The master bedroom is a very spacious room that has a double bed and the second bedroom has twin beds. A travel cot is available on request at no extra cost.

The lounge has comfortable seating for five, and has a flat screen digital TV, DVD player, CD player and various books and board games. The kitchen is well equipped and has a hob and oven, microwave, fridge / freezer, washing machine, kettle and toaster and a dining table and four chairs. A highchair is available on request at no extra charge. There is a small utility area between the bathroom and kitchen that houses coats, cleaning equipment and an iron and ironing board.

The bathroom has a bath and an over bath electric shower, toilet, wash basin, shaver point and a heated towel rail. All bed linen and towels are included in the price, we only ask you to bring your own beach towels.

The Barn has full gas central heating and all gas and electricity is included in the price. A welcome pack is provided on arrival. There is no smoking allowed inside the cottage. Outside there is ample off-road parking, a patio which has a BBQ and seating area, a rotary clothes line and a lockable storage shed for bikes or other sports equipment. There is also access to a play area in the garden.

If you wish to bring your dog on holiday we have provided outside kennels with enough room for two dogs. We do not allow any pets inside the cottage. The dog kennel has a large spacious run attached to it, and we ask you not to let the dogs run around on the smallholding.

The Barn is located on a smallholding which has sheep, pigs, chickens and ducks. They are all friendly but we ask you to respect them please and shut all the gates behind you.
